I am running Windows XP Home and have created a wired/wireless network, i can see the other computers on the network but i keep getting an error message which says that i do not have permission to access those computer

Prior to creating a Windows Network, make sue that you have the “NewLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS” Protocol installed on your network adapter.

Now you can create a windows network by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network Setup Wizard; and follow the instructions.

Now you have to activate the Guest user account; this can be achieved by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Accounts; Click on the “Guest” account and click on “Turn On the Guest account”.

This will enable other computers to access your system as guest users
