Share a hard disk drive over the network using Windows Vista or Windows 7
Right click the hard disk drive or folder you wish to share and click on Properties.
For home users select the Security tab > click on Edit > add either the Guest or the Everybody account. Make sure you tick allow for full control.
Also you may need to turn off 'Turn off password protected sharing' in Advanced sharing settings found in the Network and sharing center.
