I have just setup my new wireless router but some programs such as email and MSN Messenger are not working correctly
Check your routers MTU setting by logging into the router.
The MTU setting is generally found in the 'Advanced' section of the router setup menu.
A default MTU setting is generally '1500' however some ISPs require it to be changed to '1400'.
This usually fixes problems with sending emails and logging onto MSN Messenger.
